Really quick today, because I have a meeting in fifteen minutes. Yes, a meeting on Sunday night. This is the part where I talk about the comic business. Unless you’re very lucky or have a very rich or connected relative, most people in the comic industry, for a good part (if not all) of their careers are doing it on top of their regular jobs. We’re all moonlighting in the comic industry while being doctors, lawyers, bankers, or plastic company credit managers, as the case may be.
This status makes it hard to work of course, and goes a long way to explaining why independent comics take a while to come out or come out sporadically. I can’t speak for why Marvel or DC books do that, but that’s why small publishers do it. Actually, I will post more tomorrow, meeting set up and all. Sorry folks and thanks for hanging in there with me.
